I have been following the wiki (click me), and have encountered an error of some sort...

Everything starts out perfect, then when I get to this part:

Quote
*
Select if you want to automatically scan for the CD-ROM or to enter the device manually

*
deliinstall will now scan for the CD-ROM Make sure the CD-ROM is in the drive (it should be, unless you immediately removed it after you booted) and hit ENTER

It tells me that the CD-Drive didn't have whatever file it was looking for (I think it ended in .tgz). But, the CD-Drive obviously does work as it's what I used to start the install process, but at that point, it all of a sudden doesn't exist anymore :(

It continues to ask me what the drive letter is, so I tried this 3 times, once writting E:\, the next D:\, and out of frustration I decided to try C:\, and each time it gave me the same error (I think it said file not found or something similar) and exited the installation leaving me high and dry.

So... The question: What the heck is going on :?
I *really* need to fix that old computer, and DeLi is the cure!

The rough specs are: 400 or so Megahertz processor, I *think* it has 32 MB RAM, and a 40 GB hard drive.

DeLi-Installer seems to have some problems, when the cd drive is /dev/hdb
(second device on first IDE controller). In this case just enter

makedevs /dev/hdb b 3 64 0 0 s

before you run deliinstall.
