Can you please tell what icq-client can be installed on DeLi for more or less comfortable using?
In the process of research working icq-client have been tested LICQ and CenterICQ. The results are as follows:

1) LICQ - required to install a set of libraries and header files Boost C + +, which were then the same download (version 1.42, 35Mb) and installed. Compiling and installing Boost C + + 1.42 on Pentium-200/96RAM took 6-7 hours. After install Boost, tried to install from source LICQ. But, alas, he did not want to install properly due to lack of execinfo.h.

2) CenterICQ - console client - requires installed ncurse (available in the DeLi repository). Making from source 1.5 hours. As a result, it will start, but as it turned out, he can not work with Russian UTF-8 locale.

According to the results - the search continues.

I never used gpg before in sylpheed. But the installation package libgpg-error, gpgme, gnupg is still needed. Without them sylpheed does not work.
Regarding performance, did not notice the difference with the previous version. Медиаплеер - кроме mpg123, в комплекте поставки идет и xmms2 с графическим интерфейсом gxmms2. О функциональности ничего сказать не могу - не использовал.

Что касается установленных пакетов, то все исполняемые файлы находятся в /usr/bin. Список установленных пакетов можно посмотреть в /usr/lib/pkgconfig - туда, насколько я понял, pacman кладет файлы с описанием тех пакетов, которые он установил.

Установка программ, которых нет среди пакетов:
Вроде как наиболее правильный способ - подготовить пакет и установить его при помощи pacman. Как готовить - http://www.delilinux.org/forum/topic.php?id=884 - здесь пример создания пакета для gimp - может чем-то поможет.

Check out the /lib/modules/..../drivers/.... directories to see which drivers are already available for your DeLi installation. Perhaps the update to the newer version (see the "package news" wiki page) helps.

1. Под root-ом добавить в fstab строку:
/dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /cdrom iso9660 ro, user 0 0
2. Теперь уже можно монтировать просто строчкой:
mount /cdrom
Это будет работать под любым пользователем.

Если ты о том, чтобы смотреть его содержимое, то нужно смонтировать сидюк след командой. mount -t iso9660 /dev/cdroms/cdrom0 /mnt/cdrom
(т.е. смонтировать устройство из dev/cdroms/... в папку /... в моем примере это /mnt/cdrom). Теперь в этой папке будет содержимое сидирома.
